CLEVELAND -- Francisco Lindor belted a solo home run to snap a tie in the eighth inning and Juan Uribe added a two-run blast to send the Cleveland Indians to a 7-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night at Progressive Field.

Leading off the eighth, Lindor hit the first pitch thrown by reliever Erasmo Ramirez (7-5) into the seats in right field for his eighth home run. One out later, Carlos Santana singled and Uribe followed two batters later with a home run over the wall in center, marking the third consecutive game in which he's gone deep.

Thanks to that three-run eighth inning, the Indians extended their winning streak to four games and Tampa Bay's losing streak to five straight.

Bryan Shaw (1-3) struck out the side in the top of the eighth to get the win. Cody Allen pitched the ninth to earn his 14th save.

Leading 3-2, the Rays extended their advantage in the sixth inning when Brad Miller belted his ninth home run into the right-field seats off Cleveland starter Josh Tomlin.

Cleveland countered with a run in the bottom of the sixth versus Tampa Bay starter Drew Smyly as Santana hit a mammoth solo home run over the center-field wall.

The Indians tied it with a run in the seventh inning. Yan Gomes led off the inning with a double into the left field corner. Gomes went to second on a sacrifice bunt by Michael Martinez and he scored on a sacrifice fly by Rajai Davis.

Smyly pitched seven innings, giving up four runs and eight hits with five strikeouts and no walks.

Tomlin pitched seven innings, giving up four runs, three earned, on five hits, with three strikeouts and no walks.

Tomlin has struggled in the first inning despite having the 8-1 record he brought into the game. On Monday, he gave up two runs in the first although only one of them was his fault. With one out, Brad Miller hit a sharp grounder to Jason Kipnis, but the ball bounced off the second baseman's glove for an error.

Evan Longoria then belted his 18th home run over the left-field wall, giving Tampa Bay a 2-0 lead. It's the 14th homer allowed by Tomlin this year, and six of them have come in the first inning.

The Indians got a run back in the fourth inning. With one out, Francisco Lindor singled and went to second on a base hit by Mike Napoli. Lindor stole third and scored when Santana grounded into a force out at second.

Tampa Bay got that run back in the fifth as Desmond Jennings led off the inning by bouncing a triple off the right-field wall. Jennings scored when Taylor Motter grounded out to short, giving the Rays a 3-1 lead.

A replay review netted the Indians another run in the bottom of the fifth inning. With one out, Gomes hit a ground ball to short and both he and the throw from shortstop Miller arrived at the same time. Although first base umpire Lance Barksdale called out Gomes, Indians manager Terry Francona challenged the call and the decision was reversed following video.

That reversal resulted in a run being scored because Gomes went to second on a single by Davis and scored on a two-out base hit by Kipnis.
