Ryan Howard drove in three runs on as many hits and Roy Oswalt won for the first time in nearly two months as the Philadelphia Phillies overcame an early deficit to rally for a 4-3 home triumph over the Chicago Cubs on Sunday.

Raul Ibanez added a run-scoring single and Shane Victorino and Chase Utley scored twice for Philadelphia, which took three of four against the Cubs and has won six of its last eight overall.

Winless since April 21, Oswalt (4-4) permitted three quick runs in the first inning before settling down to snap a four-game losing skid. The veteran allowed five hits and struck out five in seven innings.

Michael Stutes fanned two in the eighth inning and Ryan Madson worked the ninth for his 15th save of the season.

After Aramis Ramirez belted a two-run homer and Starlin Castro had an RBI double to stake Chicago to a 3-0 lead, Howard got one back in the bottom half of the first with an RBI double to deep center.

Ibanez's RBI single in the third cut the Cubs' lead to 3-2 before Howard plated Victorino and Utley with a single in the seventh.

Sean Marshall (3-1) allowed two runs on as many hits in one inning for Chicago, which suffered its 13th loss in 16 games.
