Ty Wigginton and Luke Scott homered in a pivotal seventh inning, and the Baltimore Orioles finished with five long balls Wednesday in a 9-6 victory over the Oakland Athletics.

Trailing 6-4 entering the seventh, the Orioles drew even on Wigginton's 14th home run of the season, a two-run shot that cleared the left-field wall. Scott, Baltimore's next hitter, followed with a solo homer to left-center as the Orioles won for the fifth time in the past six games.

Corey Patterson, Miguel Tejada and Adam Jones also went deep for the Orioles, who rallied from a 6-3 deficit. Patterson finished 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored, while Jones also had three hits in the come-from-behind victory.

Matt Albers (3-3) earned the win with an inning of scoreless relief while Alfredo Simon, Baltimore's sixth pitcher of the night, recorded his 10th save. Orioles starter Kevin Millwood allowed six runs on eight hits over five innings of work, walking two and striking out two.

Cedrick Bowers (0-1) took the loss in relief of Oakland starter Ben Sheets, who was touched for four runs on seven hits over his six-inning stint. He issued three walks while striking out four.

Coco Crisp homered and drove in three runs for the Athletics, who saw their four-game winning streak halted.
