Ducks 5, Red Wings 2: Corey Perry registered his ninth goal in nine games and Andrew Cogliano matched career highs for points and assists with three as visiting Anaheim won its sixth straight contest.

Jakob Silfverberg scored in his return to the lineup while Nick Bonino, defenseman Sami Vatanen and Saku Koivu also had goals as the Ducks led 4-1 after one period en route to extending their point streak to nine games (7-0-2). Jonas Hiller made 16 saves to win his fifth straight game.

Tomas Jurco recorded his first career goal in his second game and Daniel Cleary also scored for injury-ravaged Detroit, which lost its sixth consecutive contest (0-4-2) and fifth in a row at home. Jonas Gustavsson allowed three goals on 11 shots before being lifted in favor of rookie Petr Mrazek, who made 17 saves.

Jurco opened the scoring when he took a feed at the blue line and moved in alone before sliding a backhander through Hiller's pads at 3:15, but Silfverberg tied it 25 seconds later when he banged home a rebound off the end boards. Bonino's second goal in as many games - a wrist shot from the slot - came at 5:29.

Perry chased Gustavsson when he skated down right wing and whistled a shot inside the right post with 1:43 left in the period and Vatanen took a drop pass from Cogliano and beat Mrazek with a slap shot just before the buzzer sounded. Koivu's second goal in four games came on a backhander in the second and made it 5-1.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Detroit D Kyle Quincey received a five-minute major and game misconduct for boarding Anaheim captain Ryan Getzlaf with 5:40 remaining in the first period. Getzlaf, who had his NHL-best 14-game point streak snapped, returned to the ice with stitches on his face at 6:55 of the second. ... Silfverberg missed 24 games because of a broken right hand. ... Detroit, which has scored seven goals in its last six games, is without leading scorer Henrik Zetterberg (back), goaltender Jimmy Howard (knee) and forwards Johan Franzen (head), Justin Abdelkader (head), Stephen Weiss (groin) and Darren Helm (shoulder).
