Iowa State 73, No. 13 Kansas State 67: Will Clyburn logged 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Cyclones used an 8-0 run late in the second half to upset the Wildcats and win their 18th straight home game.

Georges Niang scored 15 points, Korie Lucious chipped in 10 points and eight assists and Tyrus McGee came off the bench to add 11 points on 3-for-4 3-point shooting for Iowa State (14-5, 4-2 Big 12). The Cyclones shot 50 percent (11-for-22) from deep.

Will Spralding was 4-for-5 from beyond the arc, leading Kansas State (15-4, 4-2) with 15 points. Rodney McGruder collected 13 points and seven rebounds and Shane Southwell scored 11.

Clyburn scored five points in a 10-0 Iowa State run midway through the first half before the Wildcats turned that 24-15 deficit with 6:21 left in the first half into a 27-26 lead at intermission. McGruder and Martavious Irving both made 3-pointers in that stretch.

After a Southwell deep ball gave Kansas State a 56-55 lead with 7:33 left in regulation, Chris Babb made a layup, Lucious canned two free throws, Clyburn made a jumper and Melvin Ejim capped the jaunt with a dunk to put the Cyclones ahead 63-56 2:06 later. The Wildcats got as close as three points three times, but Niang, Clyburn and Lucious all made shots down the stretch to deny Kansas State a game-tying opportunity.
