Blue Jackets 4, Rangers 3 (SO): Mark Letestu scored the decisive goal in the shootout as Columbus concluded its road trip with its second win at Madison Square Garden in as many visits this season.

Defenseman James Wisniewski and former Ranger Brandon Dubinsky each recorded a goal and an assist for the Blue Jackets, who went 2-2-0 on their trek. Cam Atkinson also scored and Sergei Bobrovsky made 40 saves in his first start since Dec. 3.

Rick Nash scored a pair of power-play goals against his former team and Brian Boyle also tallied for the Rangers, who have earned at least one point in four of their last five contests (3-1-1). Henrik Lundqvist turned aside 36 shots but was unable to get his glove on Letestu's shot in the first round of the bonus format, while Bobrovsky denied both Mats Zuccarello and Nash.

Columbus got on the board with 2:53 remaining in the first period as Dubinsky deflected Wisniewski's wrist shot from the blue line past Lundqvist. The Rangers pulled even exactly two minutes later, when Nash beat a screened Bobrovsky from the left faceoff circle.

Atkinson scored on a breakaway 1:01 into the second and Wisniewski netted his third of the season with 3:13 left in the session to give the Blue Jackets a 3-1 lead. But Boyle tallied at 4:53 of the third and Nash's wrister from the blue line just over two minutes later got past a screened Bobrovsky to knot the contest.
