Jazz 93, Grizzlies 82: Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors scored 21 points apiece as visiting Utah took control in the fourth quarter and skipped past Memphis.

Rudy Gobert collected 15 points and a career-high 24 rebounds as the Jazz won their third straight and seventh in the last nine games. Rodney Hood contributed 13 points off the bench for Utah, which built up a 55-37 advantage on the glass.

Courtney Lee scored 18 points and Marc Gasol added 17 and eight rebounds for the Grizzlies, who are losers of three of their last four. Jordan Adams scored a season-high 13 off the bench as Memphis dropped 4 1/2 games behind the Golden State Warriors atop the Western Conference.

Gobert capped an 11-1 run with back-to-back baskets to put the Jazz in front 85-71 with 5:20 to play. Gasol’s putback ended a field-goal drought of more than three minutes for the Grizzlies but Favors responded with a jumper and Utah got a pair of emphatic dunks from Gobert in the final 67 seconds to put Memphis away.

The Jazz shot 29.5 percent from the field in the first half but the Grizzlies were not much better and needed to score the final four points of the second quarter to take a 38-37 lead into the break. Hayward caught fire at the start of the third quarter and scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting in the period to help Utah go into the fourth in front 64-61.
