Corey Dickerson had four hits and five RBIs to help the visiting Philadelphia Phillies even their three-game series against the Miami Marlins with a 9-3 win on Saturday evening.
Scott Kingery had two hits, including a three-run homer to spark a six-run fourth inning for the Phillies, who had lost six of their past seven against the Marlins.
Phillies starter Zach Eflin went six innings, allowing two runs and six hits. Eflin (8-11) struck out two and didn't walk a batter on 79 pitches. He also helped himself out at the plate with two hits and a run scored.
Jorge Alfaro had three hits for Miami, including a solo home run. He's 6-for-9 in the series.
Miami starter Jordan Yamamoto (4-5) threw 90 pitches in 3 2/3 innings. He allowed six runs and six hits, striking out three and walking four.
Yamamoto took a 1-0 lead into the fourth inning before surrendering the three-run homer to Kingery that barely cleared the wall in center.
Yamamoto and reliever Tyler Kinley then struggled to get the final out, giving up a single to Eflin and three straight walks before Dickerson's two-run ground-rule double made it 6-1.
Yamamoto and Kinley combined to throw 62 pitches in the fourth inning, the most in any half-inning in the majors this season.
The Marlins scored on a fielder's choice in the fifth, but Dickerson cleared the bases with a three-run double in the seventh to make it 9-2.
The Marlins rallied from a seven-run deficit in their 19-11 win in the series opener Friday, but could only pull as close as 9-3 on Alfaro's solo homer in the seventh.
Before the game Saturday, the Marlins placed third baseman/right fielder Brian Anderson on the 10-day injured list after it was determined he sustained a broken fifth metacarpal in his left hand when he was hit by a pitch in the series opener on Friday. Anderson leads Miami with 20 home runs and 66 RBIs.
The Phillies played their second straight game without right fielder Bryce Harper, who's on paternity leave.
