Angels 6, Mariners 3:
Hank Conger and Mark Trumbo hit two-run homers to lead visiting Los Angeles past Seattle.

Albert Pujols hit two sacrifice flies and C.J. Wilson struck out nine in 5 1/3 innings as the Angels snapped a two-game skid. Wilson (2-0) gave up three runs and seven hits and Ernesto Frieri worked out of a jam in the ninth for his third save.

Conger’s second-inning blast gave Los Angeles a 3-0 lead and Trumbo pushed the advantage to five with a homer to center in the third. Pujols had sacrifice flies in the first and sixth innings.

Seattle scored all its runs without the benefit of a hit. Kelly Shoppach was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the fourth, Endy Chavez hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth and Brendan Ryan bunted home a run with a sacrifice in the sixth.

Mariners starter Aaron Harang (0-3) gave up five runs and six hits in three innings. He gave up both Los Angeles homers and has allowed six in 12 2/3 innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Peter Bourjos and Brendan Harris each had two hits for the Angels. … Mariners 3B Kyle Seager went 1-for-5 to extend his hitting streak to 15 games. … Pujols played first base for the second straight night and Josh Hamilton served as the designated hitter.
