Clemson built a big lead early and was ahead 48-28 at halftime. Donte Grantham scored a game-high 22 points on 7 of 9 shooting, including 17 points in the first half. The Tigers got 13 points from Jordan Roper and Gabe DeVoe came off the bench with 11.
Lucas O'Brien was the lone player in double figures for the Roadrunners with 12. UTSA shot 31 percent from the field (18-58) and made just 6-25 from 3-point range.
