Anthony Brown scored 14 points and Dwight Powell added 13 as Stanford used a balanced attack to pull away from host UC Davis 70-49 on Friday.
Josh Owens added 10 points - all in the first half - for Stanford (4-0), who will play Oklahoma State in the semifinals of the NIT Tip-Off Wednesday in New York.
Aaron Bright, Stanford’s leading scorer, was held to six points, but dished out a game-high six assists.
UC Davis (1-4) started the second half with a 9-0 run to close within 36-28, but Stanford responded by scoring 18 of the next 20 points to re-establish control.
The Cardinal has won 15 of 16 games against the Aggies. The UC Davis win was in 2005, the only other time the Aggies hosted Stanford.
Josh Ritchart led UC Davis with 19 points.
Stanford quickly jumped to a 10-2 lead and UC Davis never got closer than seven the rest of the first half. The Cardinal received 22 points off the bench in the first 20 minutes for a 36-19 lead.
