Oklahoma State survived a lackluster night from its star scorer. The Cowboys defeated Alabama 68-60 on Saturday in the 75th annual Lane Furniture All-College Classic at OKC Arena in Oklahoma City. They are 8-2 in the tournament since 2001.
Forward Marshall Moses entered with a team-leading 18.6 points per game but scored just nine Saturday. Oklahoma State (10-1) instead relied on Keiton Page, who provided a game-high 19 points. He finished 3 of 6 from 3-point range and 8 of 9 on free throws.
The Cowboys received a blow when senior Matt Pilgrim limped off the court with less than a minute remaining. It appeared he collided with an Alabama player and injured his knee in what was a physical game. Three players fouled out for Alabama, and the two teams combined for 53 field throws.
The Crimson Tide (5-6) were led by 16 points from forward JaMychal Green.
The win was good for the Cowboys, who next play Tuesday against Stanford and Gonzaga after a short break.
