Caleb Walker led a balanced attack with 15 points as Nebraska used a big second half to cruise to a 76-57 victory over visiting Jackson State on Wednesday night.
Walker shot 7-of-8 from the field to pace the Cornhuskers (5-2), who shot 61.2 percent as a team. Nebraska led by just seven at halftime but exploded for 48 second-half points to put the game away, improving to 4-0 at home this season.
Eshuante Jones added 13 points in the win while Brandon Richardson and Brandon Ubel also hit double figures with 10. Drake Beranek and Jorge Brian Diaz chipped in eight points apiece.
Jenirro Bush led the way with 14 points for the Tigers (1-6), who fell short despite shooting a scorching 12-of-20 from beyond the arc. Tyrone Hanson had 12 points and Grant Maxey added 10 in the loss.
