Kole Calhoun hit a home run for the second consecutive night, and the visiting Los Angeles Angels went a perfect 4-for-4 against the Los Angeles Dodgers this season with a 3-2 victory on Wednesday.

Calhoun had two doubles and two RBIs, and Mike Trout drove in a run on a fly ball as the Angels won both games at Dodger Stadium this week. The Angels also won two at home against the Dodgers in early June, and they swept the season series between the teams for the first time ever.

Justin Turner hit a home run for the Dodgers, who lost consecutive games for the first time in the second half. The Dodgers' frustration boiled over in the eighth inning when Cody Bellinger was ejected after disputing a strikeout when all three strikes were called strikes by plate umpire Dan Iassogna.

The Dodgers lost starter Ross Stripling after five innings due to a sore neck and second baseman Enrique Hernandez because of a sore left hand after a swing in the fourth inning.

One night after collecting three hits and throwing out Bellinger at home plate to end the game, Calhoun continued to torment the Dodgers with an RBI double in the first inning. His home run in the fourth inning, his 23rd of the season, increased the lead to 2-0 before the Dodgers got a run back on Turner's home run in the bottom of the fourth, his 14th.

Calhoun had six extra-base hits in the two-game series. He also bashed six home runs against the Dodgers in 10 games over the past two seasons.

Trout's sacrifice fly in the sixth inning gave the Angels a 3-1 lead. Trout also hit a home run in the series opener Tuesday and threw out a runner at home plate.

The Dodgers pulled within 3-2 on an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning from Corey Seager.

Angels starter Jaime Barria (4-3) gave up one run on three hits over five innings, one outing after he gave up 10 runs on nine hits and four walks over 3 2/3 innings on Friday against the Seattle Mariners. Hansel Robles pitched the ninth inning for his 16th save in 18 attempts.

Stripling (4-4) gave up two runs on three hits over five innings with no walks and two strikeouts.
