Jonathan Schoop and Tim Beckham each homered and drove in three runs as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the visiting Boston Red Sox 7-6 on Tuesday night at Camden Yards.

The Orioles snapped a four-game losing streak with the victory, their first since last week's All-Star break and the trade of shortstop Manny Machado to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Boston entered Tuesday with a 10-1 record versus Baltimore this season.

Orioles starter Yefry Ramirez (1-3) earned his first major league victory. He gave up three solo homers in five innings and left with a 4-3 lead.

Ramirez also struck out six while walking just one. The Orioles did not use closer Zach Britton in the ninth shortly before they announced that they had traded to the left-hander to the New York Yankees for three prospects.

Instead, Brad Brach, who also could be on the trade block, closed it for his 11th save despite allowing an unearned run in the ninth.

Boston starter Drew Pomeranz (1-4) came off the disabled list to pitch for the first time since May 31. He allowed four runs in 4 2/3 innings, all of which scored on two-run homers from Schoop and Beckham.

J.D. Martinez hit two of the Red Sox's four homers.

Martinez started the scoring with a solo homer to right in the first inning off Ramirez.

The Orioles bounced back in the third as Schoop crushed a two-run homer to left-center, scoring Caleb Joseph (three runs), who singled earlier in the inning. Schoop also hit a two-run homer in Monday's loss.

The Red Sox then took a 3-2 lead in the top of the fifth thanks to back-to-back solo homers from Blake Swihart and Mookie Betts. Swihart's blast was his first this year while Betts hit his 24th.

That lead did not last long as Beckham hit his two-run homer in the bottom of the inning, putting the Orioles up 4-3.

After a brief rain delay, Baltimore showed some more offense in a three-run sixth inning. Beckham made it 5-3 on a sacrifice fly before Schoop knocked in his third run of the night with a single. Adam Jones' single added another run, giving the Orioles a 7-3 lead.

Martinez then hit his second homer of the game in the eighth, a two-run shot that cut Boston's deficit to 7-5. Rafael Devers' RBI single made it 7-6 in the ninth, but the Orioles held on.
