Tre White led four players in double figures with 19 points to lead visiting Illinois to a 93-73 win over No. 15 Michigan on Sunday in Ann Arbor.
Kasparas Jakucionis and Kylan Boswell each scored 17 points, and Will Riley had 13 points for Illinois (19-11, 11-8 Big Ten), which beat Michigan for the ninth straight time.
Vladislav Goldin had 22 points and seven rebounds for Michigan (22-7, 14-4), which fell a game behind Michigan State for first place in the Big Ten going into the final two games of the regular season.
Illinois went 3 of 14 from 3-point range in the first half but caught fire from beyond the arc in the second half.
The Fighting Illini hit 8 of their first 17 shots from 3-point range to turn a one-point halftime edge into a 20-point advantage.
Illinois ended up shooting 11 of 23 from 3-point range in the second half, committing just one turnover and scoring 62 points after halftime.
The Fighting Illini also dominated the boards, grabbing 19 offensive rebounds and having an overall rebounding edge of 43-32.
The game was tied at 41 with 16:05 remaining, but then Illinois started to gain separation.
The Fighting Illini went on an 8-0 run to grab a 49-41 lead, and they later went on a 10-4 surge to take a 67-52 lead with 8:42 left.
Illinois went on to take a 20-point lead at 75-55 on Jakucionis' 3-pointer with 6:20 remaining.
Michigan trailed by as many as 21 points and couldn't get closer than 16 the rest of the contest in dropping its second home game of the year.
Illinois took a 26-19 lead with 6:10 remaining in the first half and was up 31-25 with 2:06 to go until halftime, but Michigan scored the last five points to close to a 31-30 deficit at intermission.
