Jets 5, Oilers 4 (SO): Blake Wheeler scored the lone goal in the shootout after collecting a pair of assists as host Winnipeg battled back from three one-goal deficits to notch its fourth win in five games.

Bryan Little scored a pair of goals and set up another, defenseman Tyler Myers also tallied and captain Andrew Ladd netted the tying goal late in the third as the Jets went on to post their 30th victory. Blue-liner Tobias Enstrom notched two assists and rookie Michael Hutchinson made 18 saves before denying Jordan Eberle in the third round of the bonus format to clinch the win and improve to 14-for-14 on shot attempts in the shootout.

Nail Yakupov scored a pair of goals, Anton Lander and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins added one apiece and Eberle notched a pair of assists for Edmonton, which concluded a 2-3-1 road trip. Viktor Fasth made 42 saves but was injured after allowing Wheeler's goal in the first round of the shootout and replaced by Richard Bachman, who made one save and watched another shot hit the post.

Winnipeg defenseman Ben Chiarot set up the tying goal just past the eight-minute mark of the second period, skating down the left wing before dishing a pass to Little, who ripped a shot past Fasth from the left faceoff circle. Nugent-Hopkins reclaimed the lead for Edmonton on a breakaway 68 seconds in the third, beating Hutchinson to the glove side, but Myers tied it with a blast from the point with 16 1/2 minutes to play.

Edmonton went back in front during a power play as Benoit Pouliot corralled a rebound and set up Yakupov for a one-timer with 4:46 remaining, but Ladd buried the rebound of Wheeler's shot 42 seconds later. Little opened the scoring by cleaning up a rebound while enjoying a man advantage at 7:46 of the first, but the Oilers countered with a pair of goals 90 seconds apart, with Yakupov driving to the net and stuffing the puck between Hutchinson's pads before Lander scored from the doorstep.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ladd reached 20 goals for the fourth time in his career, all coming in the last five seasons. ... Yakupov extended his point streak to five games with his fourth career multi-goal performance. ... Jets C Mathieu Perreault (lower body) hobbled off the ice favoring his left leg on his second shift and did not return while RW Drew Stafford also was knocked out of the contest with an upper-body injury. Perreault was seen exiting the arena in a walking boot.
