Bruins 4, Sabres 1: David Krejci scored twice and Patrice Bergeron added his 30th goal to extend his career-high point streak to 13 games as host Boston clinched the second Presidents' Trophy in franchise history.

Gregory Campbell tallied in his 650th career contest and defenseman Torey Krug notched two assists for the Bruins, who recorded just their second win in April (2-1-3) to finish atop the league in points for the first time since the 1989-90 campaign. Tuukka Rask made 24 saves and picked up an assist on Krejci's second goal midway through the third period.

Cody Hodgson scored his career-high 20th goal from in front of the net to cut Boston's lead to 3-1 with 6:02 remaining in the second session. Connor Knapp turned aside six shots in relief of Matt Hackett (20 saves), who was stretchered off the ice after suffering a right leg injury midway through the third.

Campbell opened the scoring by driving toward the net and deflecting Jordan Caron's offering past Hackett with 3:06 remaining in the first period. Boston doubled the advantage 89 seconds later as captain Zdeno Chara's blast caromed off the end boards to Krejci, who backhanded the puck into the gaping net.

Bergeron reached the 30-goal plateau for the second time in his career when his one-timer from the right faceoff circle beat Hackett with 8:17 remaining in the second. Bergeron, who initially hit the 30-goal mark during the 2005-06 season, is tied with Jarome Iginla for the team lead in tallies.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bergeron has collected 11 goals and six assists during his point streak. He did not return to the ice for the third period, although the Bruins did not announce the reason for his absence. ... Buffalo dropped its sixth straight and fell to 2-16-1 in its last 19 games. ... Boston won just three of the five meetings with its Atlantic Division rival, despite holding a mammoth 66-point advantage in the standings. ... Both teams wrap up their respective regular seasons on Sunday as the Bruins visit New Jersey while the Sabres host the New York Islanders.
