Stars 4, Oilers 1: Jaromir Jagr scored his 669th career goal to move past Luc Robitaille for sole possession of 10th place on the NHL's all-time list as visiting Dallas secured its fourth consecutive victory.
Eric Nystrom tallied 44 seconds into the third period to snap a tie and Kari Lehtonen turned aside 35 shots to improve to 9-1-0 in his last 10 games versus Edmonton.
Taylor Hall opened the scoring and Devan Dubnyk finished with 25 saves for the Oilers, who fell to 1-3-3 in their last seven games.
After defenseman Brenden Dillon forged a 1-1 tie early in the second period, Nystrom gave Dallas its first lead early in the third. Nystrom's shot from the point was inadvertently tipped by Edmonton's Ryan Nugent-Hopkins before caroming off the post and into the net.
Jagr scored from the slot with 4:35 left and Ryan Garbutt cleaned up a rebound to cap the scoring nearly two minutes later.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Jagr netted the overtime winner and Lehtonen made 27 saves in a 3-2 win over the Oilers last Wednesday. ... Dillon leveled the contest at 1-1 just 4:23 into the second period when his shot caromed off the glass before bouncing down Dubynk's back and into the net. ...
