Iowa State 87, TCU 53: Freshman Georges Niang scored a career-high 19 points on 3-of-5 3-point shooting as the host Cyclones extended their home winning streak to 21 games with a rout of the Horned Frogs.

Will Clyburn added 16 points and eight rebounds for Iowa State (17-8, 7-5 Big 12), which shot 48.3 percent from beyond the arc and 85 percent from the foul line. Tyrus McGee scored 15 points off the bench, Chris Babb had nine and Korie Lucious logged a game-high six assists.

Kyan Anderson led TCU (10-15, 1-11) with 11 points and matched a career high with eight assists. Connell Crossland scored 10.

Five Niang points keyed an early 9-2 Cyclones jaunt as they ran out to a 13-4 lead 5:27 into the game. After a Charles Hill Jr. 3-pointer pulled TCU within 22-19 with 5:56 left in the first half, Iowa State closed the frame on a 14-2 run, including deep balls from Niang, Lucious and Babb, to take a 36-21 advantage into halftime.

Garlon Green made a pair of 3-pointers as the Horned Frogs cut their deficit to 40-31 3:26 into the second half, but an 11-1 Cyclones response pushed the cushion to 51-32 2:09 later. TCU never got closer than 13 from there as Iowa State quickly pulled away.
