West Virginia 63, Texas Christian 50: Terry Henderson poured in 17 points off the bench and the visiting Mountaineers made Bob Huggins a winner in his 1,000th game as a head coach.
West Virginia's Eron Harris scored 14 points, reaching double figures for the seventh time in eight games. Jabarie Hinds added 12 points as the Mountaineers (12-11, 5-5 Big 12) won their third straight and moved over .500 for the first time since they were 8-7 back on Jan. 12.
Kyan Anderson's 16 points led the Horned Frogs (10-13, 1-9), who got 13 points and nine rebounds from Connell Crossland. Garlon Green, TCU's second-leading scorer, was held to three points on 1-of-12 shooting.
Hinds staked West Virginia to a 31-28 halftime lead on a 3-pointer just before the buzzer. The Mountaineers took control of the game midway through the second half, going on a 9-1 run to pull ahead 51-40 with 8:39 remaining.
West Virginia led by seven or more the rest of the way. The Mountaineers shot 51.2 percent from the field and scored 16 points off 16 TCU turnovers.
