Suns 121, Bobcats 104: Shannon Brown scored 18 of his team-high 26 points in the third quarter as host Phoenix extended its season-high winning streak to four games while handing Charlotte its 13th straight loss.
Goran Dragic recorded 21 points and 11 assists while Jared Dudley added 20 points for the Suns, who made 17-of-28 3-point attempts and have won a season-best four in a row at home.
Kemba Walker scored a game-high 27 points and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist contributed 25 and 12 rebounds for the Bobcats, who have not won since posting a double-overtime victory at Washington on Nov. 24.
Ahead by one after the opening quarter, Phoenix outscored Charlotte 36-19 in the second to enter the break with a 64-46 lead. Sebastian Telfair went 3-of-4 from beyond the arc en route to 11 points in the second and P.J. Tucker added 10 for the Suns, who opened the period with a 13-2 run.
Brown put on a show in the third, scoring Phoenix's first nine points and 15 of its first 17 in the quarter. He finished the period with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Brown had five 3-pointers overall.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Charlotte began the fourth quarter with a 19-5 run that cut its deficit to 102-87. Ben Gordon scored seven points during the burst. ... Walker has scored in double figures in 24 of his 25 games this season. ... The Suns need two wins to reach 2,000 all time.
