Danilo Gallinari scored 21 of his 24 points in the first half and Raymond Felton added 20 points and 10 assists for the Knicks, who shot 16-of-24 from beyond the arc to win for just the third time in their last 19 trips to the United Center.

New York took a 34-30 lead after the first quarter and spread it out in the second, opening the quarter with a 10-2 run. Gallinari poured in 11 points in the second and Douglas added nine as the Knicks took a 70-52 advantage into the break.

The Bulls climbed back into it in the third, closing with a 9-2 run to pull within 93-83 heading into the fourth. New York stretched it back to 108-89 on a 3-pointer by Landry Fields with 9:03 left only to see Chicago rip off another 10-0 run to bring it back to single digits.

Felton’s fourth 3-pointer of the night with 2:38 left brought it back to 116-104 and provided the dagger.
