SAN FRANCISCO -- Brandon Crawford and Buster Posey belted home runs to help right-hander Tim Hudson post his first win of the 2015 season Saturday in the San Francisco Giants' 5-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Third baseman Casey McGehee had three hits and Crawford, Posey and left fielder Nori Aoki added two apiece in an 11-hit assault on four Angels pitchers as the Giants evened their all-time interleague record at 148-148 with a second consecutive win to open the three-game series.

The Angels, who have the best interleague record in baseball since 2007, lost for the third time in extended, full-week stay in the San Francisco Bay Area, where L.A. took two of three from American League West rival Oakland earlier in the week.

Hudson (1-2), who received just five runs of support in his first four starts, was given a two-run cushion in the second inning and pitched with a lead until leaving one batter into the ninth after throwing 96 pitches.

In running his career record to 14-7 against the Angels, Hudson allowed solo homers to center fielder Mike Trout and first baseman Albert Pujols but no other hits in his eight-plus innings. He walked two and struck out three.

Left-hander Hector Santiago (2-2) was the starter and loser for the Angels. He had held three consecutive opponents to one run or fewer before giving up four runs and nine hits in his five innings against the Giants. He walked two and struck out four.

Hudson helped his own cause in the second inning with a one-out sacrifice bunt that advanced McGehee and Crawford to third and second, respectively, from where both scored on Aoki's two-run single to open the scoring.

Crawford's homer, his fifth of the season, came in the fourth and offset Trout's solo shot in the top of the inning and re-establish a two-run lead at 3-1.

Likewise, Posey's home run, his fourth, came in immediate response to Pujols' solo blast in the top of the seventh, increasing the San Francisco advantage to 5-2.

In between, McGehee had an RBI single in the fifth, scoring right fielder Justin Maxwell, who had singled.

The Angels made it interesting after Hudson left in the ninth following an inning-opening walk to pinch-hitter Collin Cowgill.

Right fielder Kole Calhoun's two-out single off left-hander Jeremy Affeldt scored Cowgill to get the Angels within 5-3 before third baseman David Freese greeted right-hander Santiago Casilla with an RBI single that plated Trout to get L.A. within one.

Left fielder Matt Joyce then hit a hot shot toward Giants second baseman Joe Panik, but the ball struck pinch-runner Taylor Featherston for an out that ended the game.

Casilla was credited with his seventh save.

The home runs were the sixth of the season for Trout and fourth for Pujols, who had missed the Angels' previous two games with a hamstring strain.

NOTES: The game-time temperature at AT&T Park was 64 degrees, which helped convince Angels manager Mike Scioscia to pencil 1B Albert Pujols into the lineup after a two-day absence because of a strained hamstring. Scioscia cited concerns over the unpredictable San Francisco weather when noting Friday night that he would be conservative with his slugger over the weekend. ... Scioscia said his club contacted the Major League Baseball office in New York on Saturday, requesting an explanation on a questionable non-reversal call on a video review in Friday's 3-2 loss. Scioscia went as far as to recommend replacing the eight-man New York review crew, which is made up of active umpires on rotation, with an independent panel that focuses on video reviews. ... Giants RHP Jake Peavy threw a 25-pitch bullpen session before Saturday's game, his first outing on a mound since sustaining a strained back in his last start on April 17 against Arizona. The Giants are hoping Peavy will be healthy enough to make an inju
