Junior forward Lucas Siewert scored 15 points to lead a balanced attack as Colorado won its fifth consecutive Pac-12 game by beating reeling Arizona 67-60 Sunday night in Boulder, Colo.
The Buffaloes' conference winning streak is their longest since the 2005-06 season, when they were in the Big 12.
Siewert added nine rebounds for Colorado (16-9, 7-6 Pac-12). Point guard McKinley Wright scored 14. Tyler Bey had nine points and 10 rebounds, and Shane Gatling scored 11 points.
Arizona (14-12, 5-8) has lost seven consecutive games for the first time since the 1982-83 season, when the Wildcats dropped 15 in a row during their one season under coach Ben Lindsey before hiring Lute Olson from Iowa.
Arizona forward Ryan Luther scored 17 points, and junior guard Dylan Smith tied his season-high with 16 points, making 4 of 6 3-pointers.
Colorado shot 55.8 percent, becoming the eighth Arizona opponent to shoot at least 50 percent in conference play.
The Buffaloes were 14 of 16 from the free throw line, while the Wildcats made 4 of 10.
Arizona, down by 11 in the first half, tied the game at 36 with 15:35 to go in the game.
Wright then scored the next seven points, including two on a goal-tending call, to spark a 15-3 run that D'Shawn Schwartz capped with a 3-pointer from the left corner for a 51-39 lead with 10:40 left.
The Wildcats climbed within seven points on three occasions and had the ball while trailing 65-58 in the final minute, but Justin Coleman missed a 3-pointer with 50 seconds left.
Colorado hit 10 of its first 11 shots, including nine in a row, but went scoreless for about six minutes late in the first half. Arizona closed with a dunk by Ira Lee with one second left to get within 34-28 at halftime.
Arizona starting shooting guard Brandon Williams missed his fifth consecutive game because of a knee injury. There is no timetable for his return, although he did participate in warm-ups before the past two games.
