Stanford 83, No. 25 UCLA 74: Chasson Randle scored 26 points, including a career-high seven 3-pointers, and Josh Huestis matched his career high with 22 as the Cardinal snapped the visiting Bruins’ four-game winning streak.

Anthony Brown had 18 points and Dwight Powell collected nine points and five assists for Stanford (18-8, 9-5 Pac-12), which shot 62.2 percent and won its third straight. Randle shot 8-of-13 from the field and 7-of-10 from beyond the arc to help the Cardinal avenge last month’s 91-74 road loss to the Bruins.

Zach LaVine and Norman Powell led UCLA (21-6, 10-4) with 14 points apiece while Tony Parker scored 13. Kyle Anderson, who came in averaging 15.3 points, scored six points along with nine assists, five rebounds and four steals for the Bruins, who lost for the second time in their last nine games.

Stanford shot 54 percent in the first half and led 38-30 at the break before moving ahead 52-39 on Powell’s dunk with 16 minutes remaining. The Bruins scored seven consecutive points to cut the deficit to 60-57 with just under 10 minutes left, but Brown and Randle answered with back-to-back 3-pointers.

UCLA, which entered the contest averaging 83.2 points, cut the lead to 72-68 with 2:44 remaining before Stanford closed the game on an 11-6 run to secure its first win over the Bruins since 2011. Huestis made eight of his 12 shots and added five blocks for the Cardinal, who won despite committing 15 turnovers.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Stanford improved to 14-2 when leading at halftime. … LaVine was 4-of-7 from the field and scored in double figures for the first time since Jan. 23. … Randle is the first Cardinal player to make at least seven 3-pointers since Jeremy Green drilled seven against Oregon State on March 9, 2011.
