Raptors 99, Bulls 77: Kyle Lowry led five players in double figures with 16 points as Toronto dominated the fourth quarter en route to a comfortable road victory.
Jonas Valanciunas had 15 points and 11 rebounds and DeMar DeRozan also scored 15 as Toronto won for the third time in four games following a five-game slide. Amir Johnson chipped in 14 points and Patrick Patterson had 12 for the Raptors, who outscored Chicago 26-11 in the final period.
Luol Deng led the injury-plagued Bulls with 17 points. Mike Dunleavy Jr., who banked in the game-winning 3-pointer against Milwaukee on Friday, added 14 points in this one, while Joakim Noah had 10 points and 12 rebounds - all in the first three quarters.
The Bulls were within 43-39 late in the first half before the Raptors went on a quick 8-2 run over the final 61 seconds of the second quarter - capped by Lowry's 3-pointer just before the buzzer - to open up a double-digit lead. Following a competitive third quarter, D.J. Augustin began the fourth with a 3-pointer to draw Chicago within 73-69, but Toronto scored 11 of the next 13 points to take control.
The Bulls did get their deficit to 86-76 with 5:22 to play, but Johnson answered with a basket 19 seconds later to spark a 13-0 run over the next four-plus minutes. Johnson also had eight rebounds, three assists and a pair of blocks, while Lowry dished out six assists for the Raptors.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Recently acquired PG Greivis Vasquez chipped in seven points and six assists without a turnover in 17 minutes off the bench for the Raptors. ... Valanciunas had four of Toronto's 11 blocked shots. ... Chicago G-F Jimmy Butler scored 11 points in his second game back from a toe injury.
