Raptors 99, Bobcats 78: Alan Anderson scored 16 points in a reserve role and the host Toronto defense dominated in a one-sided win over reeling Charlotte.
Anderson knocked down four of the Raptors' 12 3-pointers to lead a balanced attack. Jose Calderon had 15 points, Amir Johnson added 13 and Ed Davis chipped in with 12 as Toronto won for the 10th time in 13 games.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Kemba Walker and Ben Gordon each poured in 12 points for the Bobcats, who have lost 21 of their last 23 games. Charlotte shot 37.3 percent from the field while making just three of 12 attempts from beyond the arc.
After cruising into the break with a 53-39 advantage, Toronto kept up the pressure in the third quarter. Davis knocked down back-to-back jumpers and Calderon buried a 26-foot 3-pointer as part of a 9-2 run that put the Raptors up 76-58 entering the fourth.
Kyle Lowry kicked off the quarter with a long 3-pointer and rookie Quincy Acy made it a 21-point advantage with an emphatic jam off a DeMar DeRozan feed. Lowry knocked down another long-range shot for good measure with 4:41 left, prompting the Bobcats to empty their bench.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Anderson is averaging 15.2 points over last 11 games. ... Charlotte's starters combined to score just 38 points. The Bobcats came into the night 29th in the league in scoring among starters. ... Landry Fields finished with eight points and 11 boards, giving him back-to-back double-digit rebounding efforts.
