Clippers 99, Mavericks 93: Chris Paul had 19 points and 16 assists while Matt Barnes scored 19 points off the bench as Los Angeles extended its franchise-record home winning streak to 13 games.
Blake Griffin recorded 15 points and 13 rebounds while Caron Butler and Jamal Crawford added 11 points apiece for the Clippers, who have not lost at the Staples Center since falling to New Orleans on Nov. 26.
Darren Collison scored 22 points and O.J. Mayo added 17 for Dallas, which has lost four in a row and 10 of 11.
The game was tightly contested in the first half as Los Angeles held a four-point lead after one quarter and was ahead by two at the break. Dallas used a 14-2 run early in the third to turn a five-point deficit into its first lead of the night at 64-57 with 7:16 remaining and carried a three-point advantage into the fourth.
A 3-pointer by Barnes with 8:08 left put the Clippers ahead for good at 85-83. Crawford followed with five straight points to cap the 8-0 burst and Griffin scored five straight Los Angeles points late in the quarter to secure the victory.
