Grizzlies 94, Bobcats 87: Mike Conley scored a game-high 20 points and Zach Randolph added 18 and 12 rebounds as visiting Memphis tied a franchise record with its eighth consecutive victory.
Rudy Gay contributed 16 points while Marc Gasol and Tony Allen added 12 apiece as all five starters reached double figures for the Grizzlies, who also won eight in a row from Jan. 11-25, 2004.
Byron Mullens had 18 points and nine rebounds and Kemba Walker recorded 17 points and eight assists for the Bobcats, who had their three-game winning streak snapped. Charlotte hasn't posted four straight triumphs since March 25-30, 2011.
Memphis, which led by nine points at halftime, used a 10-3 run in the third quarter to increase its advantage to 66-51. Conley scored five points during the burst.
After Randolph's layup early in the fourth put the Grizzlies ahead by 17, Walker poured in 11 straight points to get Charlotte within 77-71. But a 3-pointer by Conley with 3:29 remaining opened a commanding 86-75 lead for Memphis, which never looked back.
