Bobcats 92, Wizards 76: Ramon Sessions scored 21 points off the bench and Kemba Walker scored eight of his 17 points in the fourth quarter as host Charlotte snapped a five-game losing streak against Washington.
Rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Bobcats, who have won consecutive games for the first time since capturing the final two contests of the 2010-11 season.
Trevor Ariza scored 19 points to lead the Wizards (0-6), who are two losses shy of matching the worst start in franchise history. They lost their first eight games last season.
Washington led 27-23 after one quarter and the game was tied at 31 with seven minutes left in the second, but the Bobcats closed the half on a 21-8 run for a 52-39 halftime lead.
The Wizards pulled within seven early in the fourth quarter before Charlotte reeled off a 16-2 spurt to pull away.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington is one of two winless teams in the league along with the Detroit Pistons (0-8). … The Bobcats (3-3) are nearly halfway to last season's total of seven wins in a lockout-shortened season. … Charlotte had a rare advantage in the post, outscoring the Wizards 46-24 in the paint.
