Clippers 89, Hawks 76: Blake Griffin scored a team-high 16 points as host Los Angeles posted its third straight victory despite being held under 100 points for the first time this season.
Chris Paul had 15 points and eight assists and Caron Butler added 13 points for the Clippers, who were vying for a run of seven contests of at least 100 points for the first time since the 1993-94 season.
Atlanta's Josh Smith had 13 points before being plagued by foul trouble. Al Horford and Lou Williams added 11 apiece for the Hawks, who were hampered by their 7-for-16 effort at the free-throw line.
Eric Bledsoe came alive in the fourth quarter, making a pair of jumpers before his 3-pointer gave Los Angeles an 83-65 advantage midway through the session.
The Clippers extended the run to 20-5 in just over a seven-minute stretch to hand the Hawks their second straight loss to begin a four-game road trip.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Smith, who went 0-for-4 from the line, is 2-for-14 from the charity stripe this season. ... Jamal Crawford, who won the NBA's Sixth Man award with Atlanta in 2010, had 11 points off the bench. ... Former Hawk Willie Green went 1-for-5 for two points for the Clippers.
