Tony Parker scored 30 points, and Manu Ginobili added 18 points and seven assists, leading the San Antonio Spurs to their sixth consecutive victory, a 110-97 win against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday at AT&T Center.
The Spurs (35-6) have won 15 consecutive games at AT&T Center, where they are a league-best 22-2 this season. San Antonio continued its hot shooting at home, hitting 35 of 68 from the field (51.5 percent), led by Parker's 11-for-15 performance.
Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony, who is the subject of trade talks with the New Jersey Nets, scored 12 points on 5-of-17 shooting. On Sunday, the Nuggets granted the Nets permission to meet with Anthony to discuss the possibility of a trade and contract extension.
The Nuggets (23-17) led by as many as 12 in the first half, but the Spurs regained the lead with a 19-0 run in the second quarter and didn't trail again. Denver endured a span of 5:52 in the second quarter without a field goal.
The loss snapped Denver's three-game winning streak. After scoring at least 127 points in each of their three consecutive wins – and 80 points in the first half of Saturday's 127-99 win against Cleveland – the Nuggets failed to break 100 for only the second time in their past 10 games.
The Spurs have won five straight against the Nuggets, including three meetings this season.
