Brandon Jennings scored 21 points and had a key blocked shot and Carlos Delfino had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the host Milwaukee Bucks to a 92-90 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.
Backup guard Keyon Dooling scored seven of his 12 points in the final quarter to help the Bucks (23-36) win for just the fourth time in 14 games.
Rodney Stuckey scored 25 points for Detroit (22-40).
Milwaukee led, 90-88, when Jennings raced to the right corner to swat away Will Bynum’s potential go-ahead 3-pointer with 16 seconds remaining.
Detroit’s Austin Daye also missed a 3-pointer with eight seconds remaining. Jennings hit two free throws with 6.9 seconds left to make it a two-possession game.
The Pistons led, 75-72, entering the fourth quarter before the Bucks scored eight straight points and never trailed again. Dooling scored the final five points of the surge on a 16-footer and 3-pointer.
John Salmons added 14 points for the Bucks.
Rookie Greg Monroe had 13 points and nine rebounds and Charlie Villanueva had 12 and nine for the Pistons.
Detroit’s Richard Hamilton played for the first time since Feb. 5 and had 10 points on 4-of-17 shooting in 26 minutes. Hamilton has been bothered by a groin injury and has openly feuded with coach John Kuester.
Pistons forward Tayshaun Prince missed his third straight game with a back injury. Bucks center Andrew Bogut missed the contest with a rib injury.
