Kevin Love had another strong outing with 27 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 109-99 victory over the visiting Detroit Pistons on Friday.
Love hit 10-of-14 shots from the field and made it nine consecutive games of 15 or more rebounds as Minnesota improved to 6-17.
Minnesota point guard Luke Ridnour had 20 points and 10 assists for his first double-double of the season.
Richard Hamilton scored 26 points for Detroit (7-17), which lost its eighth consecutive road game and fell to 2-12 in away games this season.
Six Timberwolves scored in double figures, including Michael Beasley with 12 points, Wesley Johnson and Darko Milicic with 11 apiece and Corey Brewer with 10.
Milicic blocked seven shots for Minnesota, which shot 51.9 percent from the field. The Pistons shot just 38.6 percent.
Rodney Stuckey added 19 points for the Pistons, while Greg Monroe grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds.
