Richard Hamilton scored a game-high 27 points, Rodney Stuckey returned to the lineup to score 21 points and dish out nine assists and the Detroit Pistons won their second consecutive game, beating the Golden State Warriors 102-97 on Sunday night.
Stuckey did not play in Friday's win against Charlotte after being benched in the previous game for ignoring instructions from coach John Kuester. HIs return to the lineup against the Warriors was effective, as he shot 7-of-15 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line.
Hamilton went 10-for-17 from the field and 2-for-4 from 3-point range, and Charlie Villanueva added 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for Detroit (2-5).
Monta Ellis scored 24 points on 11-of-22 shooting for Golden State, but he was 0-for-5 from 3-point range. Dorell Wright added 19 points for the Warriors, and Reggie Williams had 12 off the bench.
Golden State shot 26.1 percent from 3-point range.
The Warriors (4-2) are undefeated at home but winless on the road. The loss was the first of five straight road games against Eastern Conference opponents.
