Deron Williams had 26 points and nine assists to lead six players in double figures as the Utah Jazz beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-99 on Friday.
The loss was the Cavs 12th straight and 22nd in 23 games.
C.J. Miles had 20 points, including 13 in the second quarter, for the Jazz, while Andrei Kirilenko, Raja Bell and Al Jefferson each had 15. The typically defensive-minded Jazz have now averaged 126 points in their last two games – both victories.
The Jazz held the Cavs scoreless for a crucial three-minute stretch in the second quarter to open a 14-point lead. It eventually grew to 22 in the first half before the Cavs cut it to six in the second, but could get no closer.
Antwan Jamison had 26 points and 11 rebounds while J.J. Hickson had 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Cavs, who have lost 18 straight on the road and haven’t won away from home since Nov. 9.
