Mo Williams hit a 15-foot fadeway jumper at the buzzer to give the Cleveland Cavaliers an 83-81 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednedsay, ending the Cavs’ three-game losing streak.
Williams had 25 points – 21 in the second half – and five assists against his former team despite battling a sprained right thumb he injured in Saturday’s loss at San Antonio. With the game tied and five seconds left, Williams took the inbounds pass and dribbled to the elbow, where he hoisted a fadeway over the Bucks’ Brandon Jennings as time expired.
Anthony Parker had 14 points and Daniel Gibson had 12 off the bench for the Cavs (6-8). Anderson Varejao had six points and 13 rebounds.
Keyon Dooling had 18 points for the Bucks, who have lost four straight. John Salmons had 14 and Luc Mbah a Moute had 10.
The Bucks, who entered shooting a league-worst 41 percent from the floor, scored just 13 points in the fourth quarter.
