Derrick Rose scored 17 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter as the Chicago Bulls came from behind to take down the host Houston Rockets, 95-92, on Tuesday.
Luol Deng added 16 points and 10 rebounds and Joakim Noah chipped in 12 and nine for the Bulls, who were playing the opener of their seven-game annual circus road trip.
Chicago trailed, 71-63, heading into the fourth quarter but wasted little time getting back into the game. Rose drained a deep 3-pointer on the first possession to kick off an 18-0 burst over the next five minutes.
Rose scored 14 points during the spurt, capping it with another 3-pointer that put the Bulls on top, 81-71, with 7:37 to play.
The Rockets fought back within 94-92 with two seconds left, but Rose hit a free throw to seal the win.
Luis Scola scored 27 points and Brad Miller added 21 for Houston.
