Paul Pierce led eight players in double figures with 25 points Wednesday night as the Boston Celtics defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings, 119-95, to snap a two-game slide.
Nate Robinson scored 16 points, Ray Allen made 4-of-5 3-pointers for 14 and Rajon Rondo had 10 and 13 assists for the Celtics (29-9), who shot 52 percent from the field and avoided their longest losing streak of the season.
Pierce scored 15 points in the first quarter as Boston took a 28-22 lead. The Celtics led 57-49 at halftime and put away the game with a 33-15 third quarter as Allen made a pair of 3-pointers.
Boston played its eighth straight game without forward Kevin Garnett, who is nursing a strained calf but is expected to return Monday.
Carl Landry scored 17 points and Beno Udrih added 16 for the Kings (8-28), who were without leading scorer Tyreke Evans due to an ankle injury and have lost 12 straight road games dating to Oct. 30.
