Ray Allen led the way with 16 points and Kevin Garnett added 13 points and 11 rebounds as the Boston Celtics rolled past the Charlotte Bobcats, 93-62, on Saturday.
Glen Davis chipped in 16 points and seven boards and Semih Erden had 10 and seven for the Celtics, who have won 10 in a row.
Boston took control from the start with its defense, holding the Bobcats to 16 points or less in every quarter. The Celtics were never in trouble, steadily increasing their lead throughout the game before finally pulling the starters with a 25-point edge in the fourth quarter.
The Bobcats shot 34 percent and turned the ball over 21 times in the contest. Gerald Wallace had a particularly rough night, going 2-of-15 from the floor and finishing with nine points. The Celtics dominated on the boards as well, finishing with a 48-38 rebounding edge.
Nazr Mohammed had 14 points and Stephen Jackson added 13 points and seven assists for Charlotte, which was held to a season-low in points.
