Ender Inciarte hit a go-ahead, three-run homer in the fourth inning, leading the Atlanta Braves to a 5-4 victory over the host Miami Marlins on Sunday afternoon.

Ronald Acuna also homered for the Braves, who split the four-game series with Miami. Acuna has 33 homers this season, including eight in his past 10 games. In 34 career games against the Marlins, Acuna has 15 homers and 33 RBIs.

Miami, which has the worst record in the National League, put up a fight. Marlins third baseman Starlin Castro went 4-for-5 on Sunday and 11-for-19 in the series.

Mike Foltynewicz (4-5) earned his second straight win since coming off a six-week minor league demotion. He struck out seven Marlins in six innings, allowing eight hits, two walks and four runs.

Hector Noesi (0-2), pitching just his second major league game since 2015, took the loss, allowing four hits, three walks and five runs in six innings. He struck out eight but gave up the two homers.

Atlanta opened the scoring in the first. Acuna singled, moved to second on Ozzie Albies' walk and scored on Freddie Freeman's opposite-field single to left.

Miami answered with three runs in the bottom of the first. Jon Berti drew a leadoff walk, and Isan Diaz's drag bunt became a single when the rookie dove into first. With two outs, Castro hit an opposite-field RBI single to right, and Harold Ramirez pulled a two-run double down the left-field line.

The Braves surged back on top in the fourth. The first two batters in the inning, Freeman and Josh Donaldson, walked on full-count pitches. With two outs, Inciarte pulled a fastball to right for his three-run shot. It was his fifth homer of the season and his first since July 28.

Acuna's solo blast in the fifth gave Atlanta a 5-3 lead, but Miami got that run back in the sixth. Castro appeared to homer, but the call was overturned as the ball did not quite clear the fence. It was ruled a double, and Castro eventually scored on Jorge Alfaro's infield single just past the pitcher.

Luke Jackson, Atlanta's fourth relief pitcher, earned his 18th save of the season with a scoreless ninth inning, stranding runners on the corners with two outs.
