Brandon McManus kicked a 36-yard field goal in the final seconds, and the host Denver Broncos rallied in the fourth quarter to beat the Oakland Raiders 20-19 in Denver on Sunday.
Case Keenum was 19-for-35 passing for 222 yards, 62 of which came on the drive that set up the winning field goal. Keenum and Royce Freeman ran for scores for the Broncos (2-0).
Derek Carr was 29 of 32 for 288 yards and a touchdown pass as Marshawn Lynch and Seth Roberts scored for Oakland, which dropped to 0-2 under head coach Jon Gruden.
Amari Cooper had 10 catches for 116 yards as the Raiders nearly pulled it out but blew a 12-point, second-half lead against their division rivals.
The Broncos drove from their 10 to Oakland's 18 with 10 seconds left, setting up McManus' game-winning kick with six seconds left.
Denver trailed 19-7 in the third but got a 39-yard McManus field goal and Keenum cut the lead to two points when he ran it in from the 1 with 5:58 left in the game.
Oakland's next drive stalled near midfield and Denver took over at its 20 with 1:59 left.
Carr connected with nine different players in a highly-efficient first half. He was 18 of 19 for 158 yards and led the Raiders on three scoring drives.
On the opening possession he took the team inside Denver's 10 before settling for a 26-yard Mike Nugent field goal. After Denver stalled on its first three drives Nugent kicked a 46-yard field goal early in the second quarter to make it 6-0.
The Broncos got something going on their ensuing possession but Oakland cornerback Rashaan Melvin picked off Keenum's pass at the 1 to end the drive.
Lynch capped a 75-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run with 35 seconds left in the first half, and after Denver blocked the extra point the Raiders led 12-0 at halftime.
Denver finally got on the board on its first drive of the second half. Keenum directed an 11-play march that ended with Freeman's 1-yard touchdown run.
Oakland answered on its next possession when Roberts hauled in Carr's pass over the middle for a 20-yard touchdown catch and a 19-7 lead.
