Pittsburgh's defense stifled the Giants (6-3), allowing just 182 total yards - a season low for New York. Eli Manning was 10-of-24 for 125 yards with an interception and the Giants managed just 68 rushing yards on 22 attempts.
The Steelers had a chance to tie it with a short field goal in the fourth quarter after Emmanuel Sanders' 63-yard punt return set them up at the Giants' 12. But kicker Shaun Suisham was stopped short on a fake field goal attempt on fourth-and-1. The defense made a quick stop, though, and Pittsburgh drove for the go-ahead score.
Redman (knee) played for the first time since Week 5 at Tennessee. His previous career high in the regular season was 92 yards last season at Cleveland. Ben Roethlisberger was 21-of-30 for 216 yards with two TDs and one interception.
