Eli Manning threw three touchdown passes - two of them to Hakeem Nicks - to power the New York Giants to a 34-10 win over the host Houston Texans on Sunday.
Nicks entered the game tied for the lead in the NFL in receiving touchdowns and boosted his season total to six. He caught 12 passes for 130 yards - including touchdown receptions of 6 and 12 yards early in the first half as New York built a 21-0 lead and never looked back.
Manning also hooked up with Steve Smith from 4 yards out late in the game.
The Giants (3-2) sacked Houston quarterback Matt Schaub three times. Schaub also lost a fumble and threw an interception.
Former New York running back Derrick Ward scored on a 1-yard run for Houston. Arian Foster, who entered the game the NFL’s leading rusher, was limited to 25 yards on 11 carries. Houston (3-2) ran for just 24 yards in the game.
New York, which won its second straight game, also received a pair of field goals from Lawrence Tynes from 42 and 45 yards out.
Manning finished with 297 yards on 27-of-42 passing.
