Hawks 111, Bucks 103: Mike Scott scored 17 points and Mike Muscala added a career-high 15 as visiting Atlanta rallied past Milwaukee in the regular-season finale.
Cartier Martin scored 14 points and DeMarre Carroll added 13 for the Hawks, who will be the No. 8 seed and open the Eastern Conference playoffs at Indiana on Saturday. Jeff Teague and Shelvin Mack chipped in 11 points apiece for Atlanta.
Brandon Knight poured in 31 points to lead the Bucks, who wrapped up the worst season in franchise history. John Henson scored 19 points off the bench and Khris Middleton added 16.
The Bucks led by as many as 14 in the first half, but a 15-2 Atlanta run closed the gap and Scott's 3-pointer at the buzzer pulled the Hawks within 63-58 at the break. Milwaukee re-established a seven-point lead early in the third before Pero Antic hit a 3-pointer and knocked down three free throws after being fouled behind the arc to give Atlanta a 72-70 advantage.
Milwaukee was up by one going to the fourth and it was tied with 10 minutes left, but Atlanta ripped off a 10-0 run to take a 97-87 lead and never let the Bucks back in it. Milwaukee was just 3-for-11 from 3-point range in the second half after going 4-for-7 before the break.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Atlanta has won seven straight meetings and 10 of the last 11. … Milwaukee G Ramon Sessions was limited to six points on 2-of-6 shooting, ending a streak of four straight games with 20 or more points. … The Hawks rested leading scorer Paul Millsap for the second straight game to keep him fresh for the postseason and none of their regular starters played more than 22 minutes.
