Nets 116, Pistons 104: Shawn Livingston racked up 23 points to help hot-shooting Brooklyn keep pace in the Atlantic Division title race with the win against visiting Detroit.

Livingston was the catalyst for the Nets' 60.5-percent performance from the field, connecting on 11-of-14 attempts. Mirza Teletovic knocked down six 3-pointers en route to 20 points while Paul Pierce added 17 as the Nets remained 2 1/2 games back of Toronto for top spot in the division.

Andre Drummond had 23 points and 18 rebounds for the Pistons, who surrendered 15 3-pointers en route to their 20th loss in the last 25 games. Josh Smith had 17 points while Kyle Singler and Jonas Jerebko added 16 apiece.

The Nets led comfortably at the break and poured it on in the third quarter, as Paul Pierce scored eight quick points and Teletovic drilled two more 3-pointers to send Brooklyn into the fourth with a 91-69 advantage. The Pistons knocked down eight straight shots early in the final quarter to close to within 10, but Livingston answered with a three-point play inside seven minutes remaining and the lead remained double digits the rest of the way.

Teletovic was the difference in Brooklyn's big first half, nailing 4-of-5 3-point attempts en route to a 57-45 advantage. The Nets shot 56.4 percent from the field in the opening half while connecting on 9-of-17 shots from beyond the arc.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Detroit hit just two of its 16 attempts from 3-point range in the first half and finished 9-of-27 for the game. ... Nets SF Andrei Kirilenko had three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 19 minutes off the bench after missing the previous five games with an ankle injury. ...
