Pacers 106, 76ers 98: Roy Hibbert collected 27 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks as host Indiana held off pesky Philadelphia to improve to 7-0 at home.
Paul George scored 19 points, David West added 17 points, 11 rebounds and six assists and Lance Stephenson chipped in 18 points for the Pacers. All five Indiana starters were in double figures, but the reserves combined for only 14 points.
Rookie Michael Carter-Williams scored a career-high 29 points to go with seven steals and Evan Turner added 21 points and 11 rebounds to keep the 76ers in it. James Anderson contributed 13 points and Daniel Orton had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Philadelphia.
It was tight throughout the first half with neither team leading by more than seven. The Pacers took their largest lead of the half at 29-22 after C.J. Watson scored consecutive buckets to start the second quarter, but Philadelphia answered and was within 56-52 at halftime.
Indiana finally stretched it to double digits on Orlando Johnson's 3-pointer and West's basket with a little more than two minutes left in the third quarter and took a 77-66 lead into the final stanza. The 76ers charged back and took an 82-80 lead on Carter-Williams' 3-pointer with 7:37 left, but Hibbert and West converted three-point plays to bookend a 15-2 run as the Pacers regained control.
