76ers 115, Bucks 107 (OT): Spencer Hawes collected 25 points and 12 rebounds and hit a remarkable 3-pointer to force overtime, and Evan Turner scored eight of his 27 points in the extra period as host Philadelphia snapped its four-game skid.

Michael Carter-Williams added 12 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds and five steals before fouling out late in regulation and fellow rookie Hollis Thompson scored a career-high 16 off the bench for the 76ers. James Anderson also scored 12 for Philadelphia, which held a 52-28 edge in the paint.

Caron Butler scored 38 points and Ersan Ilyasova added 19 - both season highs - for Milwaukee, which has lost seven straight. Butler was 13-of-22 from the field and 4-of-8 from 3-point range en route to his highest point total since scoring 39 for Washington in 2009.

The 76ers trailed by 10 with two minutes left in regulation before shooting their way back into it from behind the arc. Anderson sparked the rally with a 3-pointer and Hawes hit three 3s in the final 1:21, including his pirouetting, off-balance rainbow from in front of the Milwaukee bench to tie it with 1.7 seconds left.

It looked as if Philadelphia would run away early on, as the 76ers' reserves sparked a 9-2 run to start the second quarter and open a 37-22 advantage. The lead was as large as 14 after Carter-Williams' 3-pointer with just under six minutes left in the half, but the Bucks reeled off a 14-2 spurt and cut the margin to 55-53 at the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Philadelphia PF Thaddeus Young missed a second consecutive game while dealing with a family member's death. … Bucks PG Brandon Knight missed his fifth consecutive game with a hamstring injury. … 76ers SG Tony Wroten had three points and six assists in 11 minutes before leaving with a lower back strain.
