Spurs 109, 76ers 85:
Danny Green led the way with 18 points as visiting San Antonio trounced Philadelphia.

Tony Parker added 14 points and nine assists and Kawhi Leonard collected 13 points and eight rebounds for the Spurs, who have won five straight and improved to 4-1 on the road. San Antonio knocked down 13 3-pointers and handed out 29 assists while rarely being threatened.

Evan Turner scored 20 points and Spencer Hawes picked up 17 points and 13 rebounds as the 76ers dropped to .500 at 4-4. Rookie Michael Carter-Williams struggled to eight points on 2-of-11 shooting.

The Spurs, who were playing the second of a back-to-back set after a dominating 120-89 win at New York on Sunday, used the same formula they employed against the Knicks by jumping out early. Philadelphia missed its first six shots as San Antonio set the tone.

Back-to-back 3-pointers from Green highlighted an 8-0 run midway through the first and the Spurs led the rest of the way, closing the quarter on a 14-0 run to take a 31-13 lead after opening period. The 76ers cut it to single digits briefly in the second before falling behind 57-38 at the half, and Jeff Ayres’ layup with 5:33 left in the third pushed it to 75-46 before the Spurs coasted to the finish.
